Welcome to Bowerbird.

With their random assortment of found blue items, the bowerbird make a home. Just for them and their loved one.

I like to think that’s what I might do here. Collect things. String words together just slightly before they’re fully formed in my mind and heart.

Maybe I could be courageous and look around at the fragments I have, and piece them together into a real home (a life in the body) to live fully within? Maybe you could too?

My creative practise.

This space is dedicated to sharing the words and colours that tumble through me and are waiting to be spoken aloud. It’s a space for practising in public the sound of my voice.

A little about me.

I’m Emma, and I live my life with my family on the east coast of Australia, just north of Sydney. I’m endlessly fascinated by our world and how it shapes us: our homes, our people, our spirit— and our creativity and the way it shapes our health.

I work with business owners to create clarity and space in their business and life for the work they’re made to do. Turns out I’m obsessed with the intersection of business and heart-led work.

More than anything I hope it’s a friendly voice you find here, one that is also available in the reply-to section, should you have a question, comment or contribution.

Here’s to noticing—
Emma
